The water tank is easier to fill because it sit downs flat on the work surface. We did find we would get some leakage from the old laptops but have not had a leakage with this new form of espresso computer. The water tank on the Quadrante take a seats inside the laptop (making for a sleeker look) and now not on the exterior.
